A Brazilian plastic surgeon, trained where the volume is highest
Dr. Valente qualified in medicine at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), one of Brazil’s leading medical schools, before completing fellowship training at the Ivo Pitanguy Institute in Rio de Janeiro the institution that shaped much of modern aesthetic surgery and further fellowship training at New York University under McCarthy.
Brazil performs among the highest volumes of aesthetic surgery in the world. Surgeons trained there operate at a volume and technical intensity difficult to replicate elsewhere, and the prevailing aesthetic standard favours natural proportion over extreme or obvious results. That training is what Dr. Valente brought to the UAE the Brazilian technique in Dubai explains what that lineage means in practice.

Who created LipoHP?
LipoHP was created by Dr. Augusto Valente. It is not a device, not licensed equipment and not a brand name applied to an existing technique. It is a surgical planning methodology he developed over years of high volume body contouring practice.
The methodology works across three layers: deep layer volume reduction, superficial sculpting to reveal natural muscular definition, and 360 degree harmonisation. Removing fat and shaping a body are not the same task, and the second is what the method is built around.
The distinction between a methodology and a machine matters when choosing a surgeon. Most clinics differentiate themselves by the technology they have purchased, and any clinic can purchase the same machine next month. A methodology developed by the surgeon operating on you cannot be bought.

Travelling to Dubai for surgery
Dr. Valente treats patients travelling to Dubai from across the GCC and internationally. Consultations can begin remotely, but an in-person examination is required before any surgical plan is finalised.
For most body-contouring procedures, plan to remain in Dubai for approximately 10–14 days after surgery for follow-up and suture removal before flying. Flying earlier carries a thrombosis risk. Consultations are conducted in English or Portuguese.
