Custo da Cirurgia Plástica em Dubai

Most published price lists give you a number with no context. This guide explains the 2026 market ranges, what moves a price within them, and how to judge whether a quote in front of you is fair.

What drives price

What actually drives the price

  • Number and size of areas treated. The single biggest variable in body contouring. One area is not one-third the price of three theatre time does not scale linearly.
  • Time under anaesthesia. Anaesthetist and facility fees are charged by time. A four-hour procedure costs substantially more to run than a ninety-minute one.
  • The facility. A licensed hospital with full theatre staffing and emergency capability costs more than a clinic treatment room. This is the cost line that most affects your safety.
  • Surgeon experience and specialisation. Higher-volume specialists typically charge more, and typically have lower revision rates.
  • Technique and technology. Some techniques take longer or require specific equipment.
  • Whether follow-up is included. Some quotes cover every post-operative appointment, garments and any revision; others charge separately.
  • Complexity. Revision surgery, significant asymmetry, or previous surgery in the area all add time and difficulty.
Your quote

What should be included in your quote

Ask for a written quote that itemises all of the following. If any are missing, ask what they will cost separately.

  • Surgeon’s fee
  • Anaesthetist’s fee
  • Facility or hospital fee
  • Pre-operative bloodwork and investigations
  • Compression garments
  • All routine follow-up appointments
  • Medications prescribed post-operatively
  • The revision policy specifically, who pays if a touch-up is needed
Price vs safety

Why the cheapest option is rarely the safest

Liposuction and body contouring are among the procedures where price and safety are most directly linked. It is worth understanding what actually gets cut when a price is cut: the anaesthetist (a dedicated, separately qualified specialist costs money), the facility (a licensed hospital carries higher overheads than a treatment room), surgical time (rushing a case is the cheapest way to reduce cost, and a common cause of contour irregularity), and follow-up.

Correcting a poor result costs considerably more than the original surgery, and some contour irregularities cannot be fully corrected at all. That is the actual economics of choosing on price.

The patients who come to me for revision work have almost always paid twice once for the original operation, and again to have it corrected. The second operation is harder, and the result is rarely as good as it would have been first time.

Judge the quote

How to tell if a quote is reasonable

  1. 1

Is it in writing and itemised?

A verbal estimate is not a quote.

  2. 2

Does it name the facility where surgery will take place?

A licensed hospital is materially safer than a clinic treatment room.

  3. 3

Does it identify who administers the anaesthesia and their qualification?

A dedicated anaesthetist should be named.

  4. 4

Does it state clearly what happens and who pays if revision is needed?

The revision policy should be explicit before you commit.

  5. 5

Is it dramatically below the market range?

Ask specifically what has been excluded.

  6. 6

Does it come with pressure to decide today, or a discount that expires?

That is a sales tactic, not medical practice.

  7. 7

Does the surgeon hold a DHA licence and board certification you can verify?

Both should be checkable on the DHA register.

Insurance & financing

Insurance and payment in the UAE

Insurance. Purely cosmetic surgery is not generally covered by UAE health insurance. Where a procedure is medically indicated rather than aesthetic, partial coverage occasionally applies gynaecomastia in specific documented cases, breast reduction where there is documented physical symptom burden, and reconstructive surgery following trauma or cancer are the usual examples. Coverage depends entirely on your individual policy and documented medical necessity; check directly with your insurer.

Financing. Several Dubai clinics advertise instalment plans, some at 0% interest. If you are considering financing, treat it as any other credit decision: confirm the total repayable, the term, and any fees. Surgery financed uncomfortably is a poor foundation for a recovery that requires time off work and reduced activity.

Liposuction, specifically

Cost of liposuction in Dubai

Liposuction is the most-searched cost question in this market. Published Dubai pricing in 2026 ranges from approximately AED 15,000 at entry level to AED 70,000 and above for specialist high-definition work. A single small area submental fat, for example sits at the lower end. Full 360° torso contouring across abdomen, flanks and back sits at the upper end.

The variance is not arbitrary. A 360° case takes several hours, requires substantially more anaesthesia time, and demands a level of technical planning that a single-area case does not.

Technique choice moves the price too see liposuction vs HD lipo vs J-Plasma compared for what the higher-priced options actually buy you, and when they are worth it.
